Winter Prep - My Favourites

Hello!

I hope you're all okay and haven't been blown away by this ghastly weather, we didn't really get much up in Lincolnshire, the '90mph winds' here were quite the opposite and had the force of a sneeze.  Anyway, I thought it was about time I did an outfit post, this is my first so thought I'd go all out and wear my current favourite things! Don''t forget, if you see something you like, click the link in the section and it'll take you straight to the item!

My Parka style duffle coat is my latest purchase, it's super thick and was £75.00 from River Island, definitely worth the money! They currently have it listed in their RI Must Haves section, I couldn't agree with that decision more!

Next up is my varsity style jumper, also from River Island, I'm really liking the American college style at the moment and at £32 this dark green jumper has to be my favourite, it also comes in blue but the colour is 'migraine bright' so I think I'll stick with the green!

Without wanting to look like a River Island obsessive, the third item in the outfit is the hat.  I was never much of a hat wearer but recently I've treated myself to a bobble hat or two, at £12 you cant really go wrong, its got a really chunky cable knit pattern on it and it's going to be perfect for the winter.

Finally, being a '90s baby means I have a natural need for retro trainers. These are from Nike and cost me £72 pound from Schuh, needless to say I cried a bit when I saw they have now been discounted to just £42! They're great for adding a bit of colour to an outfit with green and orange detailing and are the most comfy sneakers I have ever purchased!

Trousers are a standard black skinny fit chino from Burton (old season).

That's all for today, I am super excited to have been accepted onto the #AccessAllASOS team, I did a special blog post about it last week so go check that out too! What's your top trends for the winter season? Comment below or drop me a tweet @SamSquireBlog.

See you next time!
