I have to admit I am a huge watch fan, my watch is one of the things that I cant leave the house without in the morning. My wrist feels somewhat naked when I decide not to wear a watch. Here are my 2013 top-notch-watch choices. I think watches make a great present idea, and they dont even need to be expensive, I'll show you my favourite low, mid and high range options that you can take into account when buying a watch. Click the name of a watch to be taken to the best priced website that I have found for you.
Generally a gold watch would normally do nothing for me, gold can look somewhat brassy. However, in the way of the Casio Collection watch, I am a big fan. Its a slimline digi watch and it goes with loads of different looks. I think it looks best with a suit, it has a really sharp look to it. It isn't expensive either so your bank account wont hate you too much! The best price for the Casio was with H.Samuel Jeweller, priced at a really reasonable £44.99. This kind of watch makes a brilliant additional little extra for Birthdays and Christmas.
We're heading into pricier territory so hold your wallet tight. Statement watches are great for smart and casual wear, in the case of the Bering watch, it would definitely work better wearing smart clothing. The red dials offset against the carbon fibre backing of the watch adds a spash of colour to an otherwise industrial looking timepiece. Priced at around £170 the Bering watch slots into the mid range whilst bringing a higher end range image to the mid range market. It's a relatively unknown brand, however they are definitely something worth investing in, with a top quality finish you're going to be getting a lot of watch for your money.
At a dizzying price of around £500 the Armani Ceramica watch is a definite investment watch. I really like black watches, this large faced Emporio Armani watch doesn't disappoint. It has a high gloss finish on the face and around the bracelet style strap with a matted strip around the centre of the bracelet. The watch has an inevitable high quality finish as expected from a watch of this price. Unfortunately for someone like me, the closest I will get to this kind of watch is most likely the box of it.
All three of the watches are great quality must-have watches that work really well with both business and casual looks. What's you're current favourite watch? Comment below or Tweet me @SamSquireBlog.
See you next time!
